First Time Visitors

Many patients are referred to our office by their dentist for a specific reason, however we are happy to see you without a referral. A complete exam by Dr. Franzman is necessary before any course of treatment can be recommended. A typical first visit lasts from 30 to 60 minutes.

Stay on your regular course of medications
Brush and floss as you typically would
If you take an antibiotic premedication for dental cleanings, please do this before your first visit

Examination and Diagnosis

At your first appointment a doctor will review your medical and dental history. He will perform a detailed oral examination which may include radiographs (x-rays). The doctor will provide you with a diagnosis, a prognosis (expected outcome), and will discuss all related treatment options with you.
